Final Environment

After two years I've finally completed all visual aspects of my thesis. I created a loft space for my last environment. I was inspired primarily by two sources: Blade Runner and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I played around with lighting quite a bit in this one. I wanted to create something colorful but dark and moody.

Third Environment Props

I've gathered several props together that I've made over the last few semesters so I can populate my final scene. There are not a whole lot of em but I will be able to duplicate and distribute them to add some lived in feel to the final scene for my two mercenary type characters.

Second Environment Finished

Well that didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. I created a simple 19th century European tunnel/alley model to house my Butcher and Eater characters, applied the materials, and added lighting and atmospheric effects. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Once I'm finished with the next environment this long process will be over.

Second Environment Materials

Since my second environment wont be utilizing very many props I wanted to focus on making some simple yet attractive materials in UE4.

The most detailed one is a relatively simple cobblestone material that I've modified to utilize vertex painting allowing me to "paint" water gathered between the stones to add a bunch more flavor to the material.
